Sealing films are used to 'seal' bubble tea drinks once they are made. Sealing machines basically glue on a plastic film to the outer rim of the cup and it prevents leakage. You see this method used when making traditional bubble tea drinks.

Yes, you need specially designed cups to use with the sealing machines. The bubble tea sealing cups have a custom outer rim to seal the film on. Please also be mindful that sealing machines and the cups you are using need to have the same cup diameter. The most popular cup diameter is 95mm.

The difference between 98mm and 95mm sealing machine is the diameter of the cutter rim. This will cut and seal the sealing film to match the diameter of the cup. Most cups have a diameter of 95mm. If you have a specific cup you want to use with the sealing machine, please check the diameter before purchasing. If you need a custom cutter rim, please contact us.

1. the machine was not properly cleaned throughout use so the rim is clogged and not sealing properly
2. the heating plate is not fully heated. Could also be due to improper cleaning
3. the cup they are using may not be 98mm so it's not reaching all the way around.

We have some options on helping the issue as well.
1. the customer ships the machine back to us at their cost both ways for our tech to take a look. There is a minimum of $65 service fee and then whatever the cost is to fix the parts that need to be fixed
2. the customer can try to check the machine for any sugar residue and see if that will fix the issue.

1) C1012 is not ribbed, and is clear all around the cups 2) C1012 not only works with the sealing machine, but also fits perfectly with our PP dome and flat lids.

Yes, our u-rim cups can be used with sealing machines and also with dome or flat lids. We made it convenient for you to make it interchangeable, in the event your sealing machine experiences difficulties or you want to use regular lids for whatever reason.

Tapioca pearls are gummy bear like balls found inside of bubble tea drinks. Tapioca pearls are made from tapioca starch. They do need to be cooked before consuming. Also many people will flavor the tapioca pearls with honey, brown sugar or other sweeteners for at least 30 min before consuming.

Tapioca pearls are the traditional pearls you find in bubble tea drinks. These do need to be cooked and are good for about 6 hours after cooking.

Popping Bobas do not need to be cooked. Popping bobas are juice filled balls that 'pop' or 'burst' in your mouth. There are many varieties of popping bobas: strawberry, passion fruit, mango, blueberry, kiwi, green apple, coffee, yogurt, pomegranate, cranberry.
